Turning connectivity into an emotional experience

Client: International Telecommunications Union
Location: Switzerland

Context

For the International Day of Education at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Giga (ITU/UNICEF) sought to create a high-visibility moment to showcase its mission: connecting every school in the world to the Internet.

Challenge

Translate a complex, technical agenda - global connectivity - into a meaningful experience that resonates with diplomats, partners, and the public in a symbolic UN setting.

Approach

The Good Picture designed an immersive artistic installation combining video, sound, and spatial storytelling.

At its core the idea that connectivity is not infrastructure, it is human potential.

We brought this to life through:

  • A poetic audiovisual piece featuring children’s voices from around the world

  • A dynamic world map visualizing the expansion of connectivity

  • An immersive installation guiding audiences through the Palais, blending light, sound, and space, and a piano concert by a world-renown artist.

Impact

  • A powerful, shared experience at a high-level UN moment

  • Stronger emotional connection to Giga’s mission

  • A reusable creative asset for future global advocacy

Insight

When complexity becomes experience, it becomes unforgettable.
